SCBT Donates Computers to a Local Nonprofit
(GREENVILLE, SC – March 5, 2013) South Carolina Bank and Trust (SCBT) has donated three computers to a local nonprofit.
The receiving organization is A Child’s Haven, a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of young children who have experienced developmental delays or behavioral challenges. The computers will be used by A Child’s Haven staff members for various purposes such as tracking attendance, entering goals for each child, and managing Medicaid, transportation, and billing.
“SCBT is proud to be affiliated with A Child’s Haven. A Child’s Haven plays such a crucial role in Greenville by transforming the lives of young children,” said Scott J. Ferguson, senior vice president at SCBT.
“We are so grateful for this donation. It will allows us to now have a computer in a common area for our teachers to enter daily notes which are used for Medicaid billing as well as to show the progress of each child,” said Debbie Roche, executive director of A Child’s Haven.
